"Libyan Glass" Aterian point. An early stemmed point, made of glass formed by meteoric impact with desert sand. Wind polish. Egypt. Circa 50,000 BC. This point appears in "Overstreet's Indian Arrowheads, Identification and Price Guide", Robert Overstreet, Old World Prehistoric Artifacts section, New York, 2001, 7th edition, page 1085, no. 54, in which it is noted, "The sole example known to the author".
